…is what I had for breakfast. I stopped in at Pourhouse Cafe this morning before hitting the library to write this up (I’m only two posts into this website– I can see a habit forming).
Good things are happening! Black Cat and the Bones rehearsed last night with an awesome drummer named Cal Lennon. We’re gearing up for our September 25th show @ the Player’s Pub here in Bloomington. I feel very excited, Cal has a lot of style and creative musical ideas; it will be a good show, I guarantee it.
In other news, regarding personal musical goals, I’m transcribing this guitar solo from a Carol Kaye recording. I listened to it a lot while I was driving to and from Oklahoma over the most recent holiday weekend–I think it’s a playful jam.
